نامه ای سرگشوده به جهان، عزت گوشه گیر
سی سال صحنه گردانان جمهوری اسلامی نمایشی مملو از ترور و وحشت آفریدند و مردم را با زور اسلحه واداشتند که نمایش را تایید کنند. تماشاگرانی که اعتراض را بر سکوت ترجیح می دادند یا به زندان افتادند یا به قتلگاه فرستاده شدند.نمایش امروز ایران نمایشی است خونین و حقیقی، که نمایشنامه اش را مردم می نویسند، بازیگرانش مردم اند و تماشاگرانش همه ی دنیا هستند. ما نمایشنامه نویسان، کارگردانان، بازیگران، صحنه آرایان، متصدیان نور، صدا و کارگران پشت صحنه، پشتیبانی خود را از مبارزات مردم ایران اعلام می کنیم.

An Open Lettre to the World
For thirty years the Islamic Republic of Iran has created a theatre of horror, violence and fear, by forcing its citizens to obey its restrictive rules. Those who disobeyed the rules were severely penalized, jailed or executed.
Battles for freedom have been fought over the entire course of Iranian history, from the 1906 Constitutional Revolution to the 1953 American coup, to the 1979 Revolution that overthrew the Shah, to the 1999 student movement, to today’s uprising over the fraudulent election.
The political events in Iran are unfolding according to a text written and acted daily by a broad spectrum of people, whose audience is the whole world.
We playwrights, actors and filmmakers support those who lose their lives for freedom and human rights in Iran, standing in solidarity with them and condemning the violent action of the government.

Depuis trente ans, la République islamique d'Iran a créé un théâtre de l'horreur, de violence et de peur, en forçant les citoyens d'obéir à ses règles. Ceux qui ont désobéi aux règles ont été sévèrement sanctionnés, emprisonnés ou exécutés.
Batailles pour la liberté ont été menées sur l'ensemble du déroulement de l'histoire iranienne, à partir de 1906 la révolution constitutionnelle de 1953 au coup d'État américaine, à la révolution de 1979 qui a renversé le Shah, au mouvement étudiant de 1999, à aujourd'hui l'insurrection au cours des élections frauduleuses.
Les événements politiques en Iran se déroulent conformément à un texte écrit et joué au quotidien par un large éventail de personnes, dont le public est le monde entier.
Nous dramaturges, des acteurs et cinéastes en faveur de ceux qui perdent leur vie pour la liberté et les droits de l'homme en Iran, debout dans la solidarité avec elles et en condamnant les actes de violence du gouvernement.
